The Nestera Duck House is suitable for two large geese, such as American Buffs, 4 larger ducks like Pekins and it can take up to eight small ducks, such as call ducks. It is made from the same 100% recycled plastic as our chicken coops. Carry handles are cut into the roof making the Duck House very easy to move.

 

Easy Access for Quick Cleaning

Our plastic Duck House door is designed to repel dirt from the door slots, which can be easily opened and closed. Access for inspection or cleaning is via a full-width back door which detaches using quick-release pins. The roof can also be removed in moments to make regular cleaning quick and easy.

Ventilation

Ventilation for the plastic Duck House is provided by two circular vents – both of which are fully adjustable. The recycled plastic remains surprisingly cool, even in strong, direct summer sunlight.

Maintenance-Free

Being made from recycled plastic, the Duck House requires no maintenance. The smooth interior also leaves nowhere for pests to hide and allows easy cleaning using nothing more than a hose or pressure washer. Unlike wooden duck houses, ours dry quickly – saving you a lot of time.

Our Duck House is made from durable 9mm-thick recycled plastic.

Durable and good looking

Very straight forward to put together and very practical to use with an easily removable back wall to ease access for cleaning.

Duck House

The house is well built and sturdy and is to be recommended. However, the groove in the ramp easily clogs with shavings used for bedding - if the house had some small legs then this could be avoided. The parts need clearer labels to identify which way round they should be fitted or else better instructions.

Well designed and easy to assemble

The duck house is easy to assemble, and is a well thought out piece of design. The parts all fit together easily and our ducks made themselves at home very quickly.

It’s fine

As with the chicken house I got, I like the plastic which is easy to clean, however I do need to use a towel to dry it off. Hopefully that won’t be the case in the warmer months! The pin for the door is super tricky to get to and the bedding gets caught in the grooves the door to go onto, making closing up at night a dirty job. I have raised it up on bricks which has made it easier. The pins are tricky to use and snap back easily, making them unsuitable for small children to use. I’m not strictly unhappy but doubt I would buy again.
