What warranty do you offer?
With effect from 1 November 2013, all our plastic products all carry a 10 year warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. For the purposes of clarification, this does not include any issues that may arise through normal wear and tear, or through any misuse, or any deterioration through corrosion of any fixings. Some of our fixings are alloy or A2 stainless steel, and a few of these can corrode or oxidise over time. There is nothing that we can do to prevent this, but replacement fixings can be ordered on this website. Where wooden perches are supplied, these are not covered by our warranty, but replacements can be ordered from us.
Chickenguard auto openers (which are not made by us) are guaranteed for 3 years by the manufacturer . In essence, if anything goes wrong with your product during the guarantee period, they will fix it, either by repair or replacement.
Our runs are provided with a two year warranty.
Additional 'No-quibble' guarantee
Your satisfaction is really important to us, so all of our products come with a 28 day ‘no quibble’ guarantee. Within this period, you can cancel your order for any reason whatsoever and we will arrange for the goods to be collected from you and will issue a refund.
How do I cancel an order?
If you wish to cancel an order for any reason whatsoever within 28 days of purchase, simply call or email us immediately and we will discuss arrangements for collection and refund.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes the post office to deliver your cheque or the card processor to activate the refund.
All products do have to be returned to us for checking prior to the issue of a refund, so they must be cleaned if they have been used and carefully packed for return. We will arrange for collection by a courier company free of charge. On receipt, we will inspect the goods. If any items are missing or damaged, we reserve the right to deduct an appropriate amount from the refund.
Outside the 28-day 'No quibble' period, we cover the costs of sending replacement or repaired items to you, but you have to pay for return carriage costs. Either we can arrange for the goods to be collected from you and deduct the carriage costs from any refund, or you can arrange and pay for return yourselves.
