Outdoor Toy Castle

A huge toy model castle ( 1.1 x 0.6 Metres!), with working drawbridge and prison portcullis, designed to be used in conjunction with model knights such as those from Papo and Schleich (Not included, but available at www.amazon.co.uk). Imaginations can run riot in a medieval world of castles, knights, battles and chivalry, providing hours of indoor and outdoor fun for children aged 5 upwards.

This castle is cleverly made from interlocking parts which simply slot together. The ramps up to the ramparts can be placed in any one of 6 positions. There are only two nuts and bolts (used for the windlasses for the drawbridge and portcullis) that require assembly by an adult – everything else is suitable for a child to assemble (and disassemble, partly or completely, for storage).

A typical toy castle is made from painted wood and costs around £50 to £70. Ours costs about the same, but is over twice the size, to better match the scale of the best selling knights and horses. Also, being made from tough plastic, can take all the punishment a child can throw at it and even be left outside in the rain!

Also available is an Extender Set, consisting of two more wall panels and ramparts, plus a mid-Tower and a tall Watchtower. This set almost doubles the internal area of the Castle, and provides two more places for the ramps to be attached.
