Greenhouses are hot, damp places and staging madee from traditional materials such as wood or steel suffer badly in such an environment. The heat and damp will rot wood quickly and ferrous metals will rust, even when painted.

Our staging is completely impervious to moisture as it is made almost entirely from plastic. The few metal parts are made from stainless steel. Furthermore,unlike wood, plastic does not provide many places fo plant pests or disease to multiply – which can only be good for your plants!

While our staging is strong and stable, we do recommend that it is fixed in position where this is possible. It can support a surprising weight, and is simplicity itself to clean.

The trug is designed to be used in conjunction with the staging, and it simply clips onto a side or an end. It can be slid along the side, too

It’s the ideal place to keep your tools when potting up or doing other work on the staging, as it keeps the work surface free, yet the tools are still handy. And you can carry it round the greenhouse or garden with you, as well. It has three carry handles, for either one-handed or two-handed carrying.

The trug, like all our products, is very strong and easy to clean, so should last a lifetime.
