Looking for an alternative to a wooden chicken coop, but one that is also environmentally friendly and not too expensive – you've just found it.
We have kept chickens for 18 years, and this product is the culmination of several years search for the ideal small chicken house. We have tested the design on our own chickens, and they seem to like it! The plastic is a good insulator, and the interior stays cool even in the heat of summer. The houses require no maintenance, and the smooth interior walls are easy to clean and help prevent disease. Compared with a wooden coop, the solid plastic walls mean there are far fewer crevices for red mites and no inaccessible hiding places. At the end of the season, or batch of chickens, the house can be taken apart and given a power wash down. This is a particularly useful feature if you are raising batches of meat birds, as the house can be cleaned and disinfected thoroughly before introducing a new batch of young birds.
We have three sizes available in a variety of colours. There is also a small run, that fits the Small and Medium Chicken Houses.
